About Me

I’ve been working in the graphic design business for over 20 years, so I’ve now decided to use those skills to help you make your business look more professional, by updating and refining your brand.

Developing With a Passion While Exploring The World.

I fell in love with graphic design the first time I saw a pro designer using photoshop and Quark XPress to create a flyer. It just blew my mind that you could use computers to be creative.

I knew from that moment on that computer design would become my passion and also my new career.

I spent years studying online, completing hundreds of hours of tutorials making sure I mastered all of the Adobe Creative applications and did my best to read every book, article or magazine about design.

That learning journey has never really finished, I’m still teaching myself to use the latest applications and how to use those applications to make the best art to connect with the customer.

With over 20 years in the graphic design business I have worked for a wide range of businesses in small to medium studios as both a full timer and also an agency freelancer.

Australian Brahman Breeders

Sept 2022 to present

I’m currently working part time for the Australian Brahman Breeders’ Association. In a small design team we do everything from sale catalogues to print collateral, movies and website maintenance.

Liberal National Party

2017 to 2022

Initially filling a short term (maternity) contract in LNP head office, I then moved on to a position working for the Ministerial Services Unit in Parliament House and finished up with Michelle Landry MP. This position was primarily print design but also included some signage and multimedia.

Careers Australia

2015 to 2017

As design team leader I was responsible to ensure that all artwork conformed to the company style guide and met compliance standards. Additonal tasked included implementing new file structure and design process proceedures.

Valley Edge Design Centre

2010 to 2015​

As a full time graphic designer the position required design and finished art of all printed materials, displays, signs and product packaging. Design and development of HTML and Flash websites and presentations. Photography and retouching of products for catalogues and brochures.

Bamboo Creative

2008 to 2010​

As a junior designer/finished artist this position primarily involved taking rough sketch layouts and turning them into press ready art. With major clients including Rover Mowers and Herron Pharmaceuticals the studio produced a range of printed artwork including flyers, point of sale display items, labels, packaging and print advertising.
